Baijumon Thittala Varkey graduated from Anglia Ruskin University with 2.1 in LLB (Hons) in 2013, a postgraduation in Employment Law at East Anglia University of Norwich and a Legal Practice Course from Anglia Ruskin. He secured an admission for MPhil at Cambridge University in the South Asian Studies for a research project on human rights of the tribal community in South India and the fundamental rights of the constitution of India but discontinued the course in order to undertake Legal Practice Course to become a solicitor.
Baiju started to work as a part-time paralegal from his second year of the LLB course and continued to work as a paralegal in various law firms until he began his training contract. He has been admitted as a solicitor of the senior courts of England and Wales in 2019. He specialises in criminal law.
Baiju is pragmatic and adept at gaining an in-depth understanding of his clients’ needs. He delivers effective client care with a compassionate approach. He has gained a reputation as a lawyer who fights passionately for his clients to protect their interests and achieve a favourable outcome.
Baiju is multi-lingual and can communicate effectively in English, Hindi, Urdu, Malayalam languages and intermediate level of proficiency in Tamil language.
